Made with intention

Our garments are made in Arequipa by Alwa, a Peruvian manufacturer specialising in knitted garments made from natural fibres. Alwa is certified under Fair Trade Peru Good Practices by PROMPERÚ for the production of knitted garments in natural fibres.

We chose to work with them because their way of working reflects what we expect from the people behind Aimara: fair working conditions, opportunities for training, a clear position against child labour and attention to the environmental impact of production and sourcing.

There is no need to make it more complicated than it is.
